The phone rang. Nobody Zorro answered.
You're under a hood, on a ladder, with a customer, or home for the night. The phone rings, and a customer who was ready to book calls the next business on the list. Zorro picks up the calls you can't, books the work, and tells you everything.
Set up in person by a real local team. You keep your phone number.
ZorroThanks for calling! I'm the shop's virtual assistant, and this call may be recorded. How can I help?
CallerMy brakes started grinding on the way home. Can someone look at it this week?
ZorroSorry you're dealing with that. I have Tuesday at 10 AM or Wednesday at 2 PM. Which works better?
CallerTuesday at 10.
How many customers called you last week, and got nobody?
Most owners don't know, because a missed call leaves no trace. No voicemail, no name, just a customer who went somewhere else. A few questions worth sitting with:
What happens when you can't get to the phone?
Does it ring out? Go to a voicemail box nobody checks until tomorrow? Every one of those rings is someone with money in hand and a problem to solve.
Do people actually leave voicemails anymore?
Think about the last time you called a business and got voicemail. Did you leave a message, or call the next one on the list?
Who's answering at 7 PM on a Tuesday?
Your customers' cars break down, pipes burst, and questions come up after you close. Evenings and weekends are when people finally have time to call.
What is one booked job worth to you?
Now picture a single extra job a week, every week. What about the customers who'd keep coming back for years?
How much does stopping work to answer cost you?
Every time you put down the tools to grab the phone, the job in front of you waits. Some calls are worth it. Many are "what are your hours?"
What if every missed call became a booked customer?
Not a voicemail. Not a callback you forget. An appointment on your calendar and a summary in your hand. That's the whole idea behind Zorro.
What could your missed calls be worth?
Move the sliders to match your business. Your numbers stay on your screen; it's just math.
That's about 13 jobs a month that called you first.
Over a year: $54,600
An estimate from your own numbers, not a promise. It doesn't count repeat visits or referrals, which is where a loyal customer is really worth it.
Your phone, your number, and a receptionist who never misses
Zorro is an AI phone receptionist trained on your business: your hours, your services, the prices you approve, and how you like things handled.
A call goes unanswered
You're busy or closed. Your line forwards the call to your Zorro assistant after a few rings, so callers dial the same number as always.
Zorro picks up
A friendly, natural voice greets them as your business, says it's your virtual assistant, and finds out what they need.
The work gets booked
It books appointments into your calendar, takes down sales leads and estimate requests, and sends emergencies straight to your cell.
You get the details
Every call shows up in your private online dashboard with a written summary: who called, their number, their vehicle or job, and what they want.
Everything a great front desk does, at any hour
Books appointments
Checks your open times, offers a couple of choices, and reads the date back so there's no confusion. No double-booking. Connections to shop software, starting with Tekmetric, are on the way.
Captures sales leads
Someone asking about a car on your lot, a bodywork estimate, or a big job? Zorro gets their name, number and what they're after so you can close the deal.
Escalates emergencies
Stranded on the highway, an accident, or something unsafe? Zorro doesn't take a message. It sends the call straight to the cell number you choose.
Gets the number right
It reads every callback number back digit by digit, and asks how to spell names that could go either way. No more "who was that?"
Works nights and weekends
Cover only the hours you're closed, or every call your team can't get to during the day too. You choose what fits.
Shows you everything
Your own dashboard shows every call, its summary, and how many minutes you've used, so you always know what the assistant is doing for you.
We don't hand you software. We hand you a working front desk.
Most AI phone tools give you a login and wish you luck. Zorro is a service. A real person from our team sits down with you, learns your business, and doesn't leave until your assistant is answering calls the way you want.
- We visit your business. A short sit-down to learn your hours, services, the prices you're comfortable quoting, and who handles emergencies.
- We build your assistant. Written around how you talk to customers, not a generic script.
- We test it hard before launch. Real test calls: tricky questions, emergencies, price questions it shouldn't answer, and bookings end to end.
- We switch it on with you. We set up the call forwarding on your phone line on site and make a live test call together.
- We keep tuning it. We review calls in the first days, fix anything that isn't right fast, and check in with you to see how it's going.
- You call a person, not a ticket queue. Want a change? Tell us, or send a request from your dashboard.
"A missed call isn't a phone problem. It's a customer who wanted to give you their business and couldn't. We built Zorro so local businesses stop losing those customers, and we set it up by hand because every business runs a little differently."
The Zorro team
Usually live within a couple of days of saying yes.
Built for businesses where the phone rings while your hands are full
Auto repair shops
Repairs, maintenance, inspections and diagnostics booked while you're under a car. It captures the year, make, model and what's wrong, so you're ready when they arrive.
Body and paint shops
Estimate requests, insurance questions, and drop-off times, with the damage described and the claim noted, without anyone leaving the booth.
Used car dealers
Every "is this car still available?" call becomes a lead with a name and number, and test drives go straight onto the calendar.
Home service trades
Plumbing, heating and cooling, electrical. Urgent calls go straight to your cell, and the rest get booked or written up for the morning.
Serving local businesses across Connecticut and Massachusetts. Run a different kind of business that lives on the phone? Ask us.
An assistant that protects your reputation
One bad answer can cost you a customer, so your assistant follows strict rules on every single call.
Curious? Good. Here are the answers.
Do I have to change my phone number?
No. You keep your number. We set your phone line to forward the calls you can't answer to your Zorro assistant, so customers dial the same number they always have.
Will callers know they're talking to an AI?
Yes. Every call opens by saying it's your virtual assistant and that the call may be recorded. Being upfront builds trust, and Connecticut and Massachusetts require consent to record.
Does it sound like a robot?
It speaks in a natural, friendly voice and keeps the conversation short and to the point, like a good front-desk person. The best way to judge is to hear it, so ask us for a demo call.
What if a caller has an emergency?
Emergencies like a stranded driver, an accident, or an unsafe situation are passed straight to the cell number you choose.
Will it quote prices or make promises I can't keep?
No. It only quotes prices you've approved in writing. It never promises completion times, diagnoses, warranty outcomes, financing, or insurance coverage. When in doubt, it books a visit or takes a message.
Do I have to set it up myself?
No. Zorro is done for you. We come to your business, learn how you work, build and test your assistant, switch on the call forwarding, and keep tuning it after launch.
Can it answer only after hours?
Yes. Some businesses want help only when they're closed, others want every call their team misses during the day too. We'll help you pick based on when your calls actually come in.
How do I find out who called?
Every call appears in your private online dashboard with a written summary: name, callback number, what they need, and whether it was booked. Bookings land right on your calendar.
How much does it cost?
It depends on how many calls you miss and when. After a short conversation about your business we'll recommend the right fit. Ask us about trying it first.
How many calls will you miss this week?
Tell us a little about your business. A real person from our team will reach out, answer your questions, and show you what Zorro would sound like answering your phone.
